We booked Livitrans at the last minute and luckily it was still available. The departure was smooth and we arrived in Lao Cai on time. The train was a bit downgraded but they kept the cabins and beds clean.

Booked the Livitrans Express from Hanoi to Sapa. Check-in process went smoothly and the schedule was on time. The staff was friendly and polite. The cabin was clean and comfortable. However, be aware that it will be loud and shaking when the train moves.

Our family has 4 people so we chose a 4-bed cabin. It was comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. It was a bit loud at first but we got used to it quickly and still can sleep well. Overall a nice experience.
