Booked a 4-bed cabin. It was a more cost-saving option but the service was pretty good. The restroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was noisy while we slept but we were okay with that. Consider if you are a light sleeper, otherwise, it would be an experience to try.

First experience with a night train. King Express Train is fully equipped. There were options of 2 beds and 4 beds in one cabin. We shared the cabin with 2 other passengers and it was not too much trouble. The staff was kind and polite. Our cabin was clean. The toilet was clean. It was a nice experience.

We booked a VIP cabin with only 2 beds. The privacy was excellent. The space was enough for our luggage. However, the bed was a bit hard. The cleanliness could be improved.

The cabin and toilet were reasonably clean. There was water and some snacks provided. The downside was the aircon which was a bit too cold.

Overall good experience. The train includes many cabins so it is a bit more crowded than others. However, it was comfortable in the cabin. There were 4 of us so we had a private 4-berth cabin. The staff was friendly and kind.

2 of us booked the normal soft berths in a 4-berth cabin. The cabin was nice and clean. The train looks a little downgraded but the beds are pretty comfortable. There is water and some soft drinks in the cabin. The time was correct as scheduled. Recommended.

You should book four berth train (for two) if you want to have more space. Cabin is basic with pillows and a basic sheet sleeping bag which was adequate.

If you don’t hold high expectation, this train is good enough for 8-hour journey to reach Sapa. Cabin is furnished with basic amenities. There is one toilet per carriage and a basic sink.

Although the space is not very roomy, there are not any problems if you bring heavy luggage. It is easy to fit two large cases under the bed.
