Located in the center of Bac Ha town in Sapa, Bac Ha Market is one of the largest, most colorful and exciting markets of minor communities here. The market is only held on Sundays, with Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay or Nung coming, trading their best goods and meeting each other for some drinks. Besides the visit to this market, travelers also experience an amazing boat trip upstream Chay River and walking to Tay Village.
Can Cau Market Tour (Saturday)
Can Cau is not recognized by its size, but its colorful, spectacular and uproarious sceneries. Opening only on Saturday, the market is trading place of several minor communities, including the Flower Hmong, Black Dao, Phu La as well as Chinese people from the other side of the borderline. Another great feature of the tour is the boat trip along Chay River and a short walking journey to Tay Village.
Cao Son Market Tour (Wednesday)
Cao Son is considered one of the most breathtaking destination of Lao Cai province, with amazing weather, diverse tradition of local ethnic group and spectacular sceneries toward lush valleys and tranquil Chay River. During this tour, you will spend time on one of the smallest local trading place in the area, which is covered by amazing sceneries around. The market is minuscule, but it still remain its original features for hundred years
Cat Cat - Lao Chai - Ta Van walk

This extraordinary market is organized only on Tuesday. Coc Ly is a tiny trading place where you are able to meet people from different minor communities, including Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Phu La, Nung and Tay. The trip also includes a one-way boat trip along Chay River and a walk to Trung Do village of Tay people.
Muong Hoa River and Ta Van Giay Village
The trip concentrates in giving passengers general knowledge on the cultivation of rice by local farmers, from the time when seed is grown to when it is ready to be eaten on the table. In addition, an opportunity to meet local tribal groups, like the Black Hmong, Giay and Red Dao is also offered by this program.
Muong Hum is situated about 3 driving hours from Lao Cai station. It is one of the most unique and uproarious markets in the area with the appearances of people from different local minor communities such as The Ha Nhi, The Phu La, The Tu Di, the Black Dao, the Giay, the Red Hmong and the Black Hmong. Also, one of highlight of this tour is that guests visit Muong Vi caves, where they could see beautiful stalagmite and stalactite.
Muong Khuong Market Tour (Sunday)
Muong Khuong market is positioned at the heart of Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province. The market is open every Sunday, but you have chance to visit this trading place, you will meet some rare tribal communities who live only in the territories such as the Tu Di, the Pa Gi and also some Tay and Giay. Moreover, a walk to a village of Tay people which is covered by wonderful rice terraced fields and magnificent sceneries in also included in the tour
