To the Northwest on Bikes
If you have the physical ability, take part in this 3 days cycling trip in Lao Cai area. Our vehicles will start Day 1 off by dropping travelers at Silver fall, the base of Hoang Lien Mountain. From here, you will cycle 3km uphill toward the top, the Heaven’s Gate. The beautiful view from this will surely not disappoint. After that you will cycle down to Binh Lu junction which will then lead to Than Thuoc. You will rest for the night here at a local guest house. You will listen to stories by the locals and enjoy the highland tea. Day 2 will be about riding down to Than Uyen area where you get the chance to interact more with the local people. Along the way, you will be able to see the beautiful vegetable along the road side as well as the terrace paddy field. At Than Uyen, you can see the way they make traditional arts and crafts and well as the rich cultures they have. In the evening, you will stay in a local guest house. It is recommended to have a good rest before day 3 when you take a 40km ride to Muong Kim. This is a place for ethnic people residing. You can witness their traditional practices. Along the way, there are plenty locations for taking pictures. The trip will end when you reach Van Ban for Lunch before heading back to Lao Cai.

Day 1: Lao cai - Sapa - Than Thuoc
Firstly, our cars will get you out to a starting point at the 'Silver Waterfall' for the cycling trip. Then it's a 3km go uphill the mountain where you might cease for witnessing wonderful sceneries of Hoang Lien mountains before get down to Binh Lu Junction. Getting off the main road, you take on the rocky road to Than Thuoc, an allured little tea town where you'll stay for the night in a local guesthouse.
Day 2: Than Thuoc - Than Uyen
After breakfast, we continue the tour by taking you up to another starting point where you'll ride down to Than Uyen through valleys of lush tea fields and yellow rice terrace. After lunch in Than Uyen, you might spend your entire afternoon exploring the local minority village and their typical culture. Getting back to Than Uyen for dinner and you spend another night in the local guesthouse.
Day 3: Than Uyen - Lao Cai
Taking a full breakfast for extra energy, you will ride 40kms around the other side of the breathtaking Muong Kim valley with various stopping time for pictures shooting of the local hill tribe people and the stunning landscapes there. Then you arrive in Van Ban for lunch then get on minivan to return to Lao Cai.
