Exploring the Tram Ton Route
This tour is designed for outdoor people who want to flex their muscles and challenge their spirits against the highest peak in the region of Indochina-Fansipan, which means the number 1 peak in the three countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The tour lasts for two days which is about enough time for you to challenge this 3143m peak. Though the route is not too difficult, it is a must that you are in a good shape for this journey. The tour sets off by a quick drive from your hotels to Silver Waterfall. The fall looks only pretty in the wet season, for dry season mostly it is more like a trickle. From there, you walk to Heavenly Gate where the locals believe the path to Heaven Kingdom has been hidden. From this watching point, you can savor the beauty of Fansipan before conquering it. The journey is not as difficult as you drive to the camp site at 2800m above the sea level in the late afternoon. Here is the place you spend your night in. You may walk around while the staff is preparing dinner. The second day is more extreme as you get to climb this time. The climbing route is beautiful with blooming wild flowers and amusing old trees. The sight from the roof of Indochina is bound to blow you away. You can savor your moment on top before heading down for lunch. Then you come down to Tram Ton Pass for a watch over the flying clouds between the natural walls of mountains.
